Evie: I’m the leader of the pack. Since opening my own premises at the Silk Mill in Frome in December 2018, I have been working on a variety of sustainable projects since graduating from university. Studying BA (Hons) at the University for the Creative Arts for Fashion Atelier, immersed with learning skills surrounding tailoring, pattern-cutting, and bespoke techniques, I apply this to creating high-quality garments with a lot of love. Bringing doughnuts to the studio and supplying breakout tunes like the Killers and David Bowie, there is never a dull day in our space!
Tia: I’m the media influencer! This includes all things social media and photography within Daines Atelier. Since starting her brand Evie has made it clear to me she needed some guidance when it came to the promotion of her brand and I was more than happy to offer my services. I recently graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a BA Honours degree in Fashion photography so I have the perfect skill set to help Evie enhance her brand. I have a huge passion for fashion and am fascinated by the workings of social media, so when Evie officially offered me the job I was ecstatic! Although I don’t necessarily have to be at the studio everyday to carry out my tasks, I definitely want to be there as it’s such a fun and creative environment.
Anisah: I’ve been a superfan of Evie’s from the very beginning, and am delighted to join such a wonderful and creative team! Having just graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Social Sciences from the University of Bath, yet always having wanted to do something creative, this opportunity came at the perfect time. As reigning Daines Atelier Employee of the Year since 2019 (as of two seconds ago), I am committed to making sure our garments follow our sustainability-led ethos, and ensuring we produce designs that bring something new to the table.
